Got some advice on where to get non AR parts (set screws and pins) before now I wondering is there a place to order springs for an AR. I needed a few safety springs and they were like $4.00 each. Also, I am playing around with the springs in an AR-9 bolt. I try to have a bunch on hand.

For the AR9 are you talking recoil springs?

I've bought a few Sprinco on Ebay, although there might be cheaper options.

@NKD When I first got my AR-9 and had a BCG from PSA, the gun would empty a 32 round magazine (sometimes) with 2 pulls of the trigger. The trigger would lock up fine. The spring in the BCG was too weak and it would slam firer. The smith put a 308 spring in there and it went back to one trigger pull, one shot. Was going to play around with different BCG springs again. If I can find another Glock Bolt, I am going to buy it for special occasions.
I was also looking for he safety spring in the ARs.

The AR9 is the perfect application for that Armaspec buffer setup I pasted above:

at $59 it's a steal. You'll pay more than that for a quality 9mm buffer and spring

They have them for $5 free ship pretty often. I have them in all my ARs.
I replaced 3 of mine with them and I could tell the difference right away. Then I went back to a normal spring and the SPROING surprised me. Then I tried an Armaspec in a 5.56 7.5" pistol and I am hooked. I want to put an armaspec stealth system in all my ARs now.

They’re $6.95 w/ free shipping right now.

If $5 is a possibility, I’ll wait. :D

Anyone find any deals on a flat wire recoil spring hollar. The strike industries isn't cheap at $25 but cheaper than the others
