Just got my first compound bow, older but in good shape and good for a beginner.

Looking for a recommendation for an archery shop to tune the bow/adjust to me & provide info. Not looking to get on a team or compete, just hoping to develop enough skill safely to do some bow hunting (eventually).

I know there's a cubicle in the Sportsman's Warehouse on 191, but would like other options.

Just down 191 from Sportsman’s there’s an indoor archery range. I’ve not been, but have heard good things.

Thanks!

I saw that place, but wasn't sure it was open. Their web site gave me the impression they're sorta team sport/competition oriented.

There's Checkpoint Armory next to JoAnnes fabrics in fletcher on hwy 25. Just down from the Ingles.
He does some gunpowder items, but his main gig is bows and such in there, and an indoor bow range.

Are you thinking of the old Heritage Outdoors?

Im pretty Checkpoint and Heritage are both closed for good.

Yeah I might be.
I drive by there often but haven't gone up that driveway in some time.
They're closed? Dadgum.

Heritage is unfortunately closed. Please share if you find a good shop in the H’vlle/Asheville area

There is a place off 19 just before Burnsville that has an indoor range upstairs. I’m not sure if they work on stuff or if it’s even decent. The place is worth stopping in just for the experience. @Thatguy maybe be able to offer some insight.

Thread is risen! Not quite a year to the day. :)

Thanks, it's a little out of the way for me these days, but maybe I'll get a chance to check it out one of these days.

Glad you got the help.
How was the shop? And name of it if you remember?
I need to get my bow tuned up for next year

I got recommendations, but haven't been able to act on 'em yet.
I know a guy that could possibly help you out, but his range is only open a 1:33 in the mornin. 🤣🤣
