Has anyone here messed with Arduino programming? I am going to build me a small timer box that will operate lights and a siren, but have never messed with arduinos before. I have a little experience with PLC's but thought I would give a try to something more modern. Is it possible to program these things without any C+ or coding experience?
 
Yes have built a great camera slider and some other switches and stepper motor centric items etc. There is plenty of ready made code out there. You can pick up the necessary C code as you go along.

You will find plug and play code for most of what you will want to do, the rest is just logic puzzles. Plenty of support community too; what you're doing shouldn't be too difficult.
