Nope!!! This one come up today during my compliance audit.. in short… here’s the back story. One of my customers sent me a note telling me they won a gun from YouTube and they would be contacting me… sure 💩 … they called to get info for the transfer. It was from GunBlast.com (Jeff Quinn) on YT. Link below to the give away. As life would have it…..the ATF issued an open letter on the Franklin Armory Reformation for FFLs, as the ATF didn’t know how to classify the weapon. So, no further transfers were allowed until further notice. That was 1/1/20…. Fast forward to today (3 years later).. IOI thought it should be an SBR and questioned it. I told them the story and advised on the open letter.. still open. After the audit was done, I went out to Franklin Armory’s website .. low an behold.. a few days ago, they formally sued the ATF due to lack of closure and length of time to resolve.
