Armslist abominations.

I usually get my daily chuckle from the Hyatt e-mail. I LOL'd at a 686-3 for 999.99 last night!

Does anyone know if their prices are extremely negotiable? They do have interesting stuff from time to time.

Depends on the mood Larry is in. I've had him come way down on a price and I've been politely told to pound sand with an offer.

Derp derp derp derp... And this is an ad from a local gun store

Anyone want a museum piece? Because that MRE's at least 20 years old.

Wonder if it has one of those sweet dehydrated fruit bars? I kind of miss those. And the fudge cookie thing.
Someone local wanna pick this up for me? My nostalgia slightly outweighs my fear of botulism.
Speaking of old MREs and the like...anyone ever check this guy out? Have seen him deny to try very few things, including a packaged "tropical chocolate" bar from some sort of rations. Check him out, it's worth a good laugh as he tries the food, smokes the cigarettes that are packaged with any rations, and as he drinks his coffee, black! He calls it this because that's how it's labeled.

I've been watching his antics for about a year now. It's funny he's eaten American rations from the 40's, but it was a Chinese meal from like last year that finally sent him to the hospital.

Love his stuff. It's like Bob Ross for MREs.

Even the Boer War dried beef from the trhe 1890s that had turned black didn't make him sick like the PLA ration did.

This is the same local FFL that I have tried desperately to support. But just can't. His prices are outrageous.

$1,100 for a kit built 300BO pistol. Any one of us could slap that together today for ~$5-600 all in. I happily pay $50-100 above internet prices for a local guy, but not double.

Holy cow! He's basing off UnBranded's retail pricing. Dealer cost could be around half or less. I don't feel like logging in and spec'ing it out.

Not Armslist but GunBroker. I'm detecting sour grapes and sarcasm.

"THE solid copper barnes bullet is still there, stuck in the barrel"

I'm no expert here but I can't find any factory ammo with that bullet. Good chance it was a reload that was either double charged or way hot for that weight.

Would have to be way hot to do that to an 1895 action. I would guess reload, too.

I think reload. From his description "48 gr. of IMR3031 over a 300 gr Barnes solid copper .458 bullet."

He says it was 48gr 3031 with a 300gr barnes that did this. Me thinks he needs to pull a few to check.

I’m not sure that Barnes makes a 300gr .458 solid. Don’t see it on their website.

Is this yours? :D

Can’t tell if it’s a Gen1 or 2 but def a gen1 type stock. I’m guessing a Gen1, which I’m not sure draws any premiums. Gen2 new is much cheaper than this and can get different calibers. Those 2 pics show the gun outfitted differently as well. Apparently words in the description cost money... on 14 in this one!

I bought mine way back before PCC ARs were a thing. I have a Gen1 and if I can get 1600+, I’d consider it gone! It’s nice and unique but not at that price! Those Gen1 stocks beat the crap outta my cheek bone...maybe I’m doin it wrong? o_O
