Armslist abominations.

Gotta be careful out there. The Chinese are making knock off Leupolds now too.
Recently saw some jerk on a local BST type site selling an AR with a fake LCO on it.
Great thing about Leupold, is you can go to their website and type in the serial number and it will verify if they produced. They recommend you do this before sending in for service, since they get so many fakes in. I got one in a trade that the deal was so good, I thought had to be fake. Checked the S/N and it came back as genuine. So really good trade!

I'm interested, how did you know this is fake? I know nothing about ACOGs.
A couple things, Trijicon never printed Trijicon ACOG on the side of their scopes it's always been cast into the mold, the RMR has silver adjustment screws on it which also are fake. If you could see the other side of the scope you would see that the screws for tightening down the ACOG to the rail are also incorrect and there's also inconsistencies with the marking on that side . Plus, if you just Google Trijicon ACOG with RMR clone you can see this exact model. Most OEMs will verify a serial number if you call them. There are knockoff/clones/airsoft models for basically every quality name brand scope. There's link to a a knock off Trijicon MRO posted on the previous thread page.

This one baffles me. Look at the fourth paragraph down which is a single line. Can anyone tell me what could possibly be the reason for this?

I was curious so I emailed him and asked him. Here is his reply, "The rationale is quite simple. I don't own a smartphone, and I don't have the software to download pics on my pc. I am 68 years old and I am not tech savy. By the way, this is how things were done before your time. Thanks for wasting my time trying to explain to you how things were done in the past."
Here's my reply to him, "Sorry I wasted your time young fellow. I'm 80. I thought it was a reasonable question since it was an unusual situation. My expeience was that politeness was the way it was in the past."

Is it me or........?

I played with that design a few years ago, just didnt look right to me. Still doesnt. I tried various rifles and shotguns, nothing 'FIT' right in with the flag.

I could not help myself. I bought one of those T-shirts just to see who (if anybody) will say anything about it at the range.

Maybe change the stars to a Betsy Ross circle and use a flintlock musket?

I'll post some tomorrow, on my external HD, I'll need to upload them. Just didnt come out right to me.

Evidently I've been turning down some good deals at the local gun stores. Who knew a BFG Glock was rare and worth so much money??

Wow,I have a Gen 3 in Green I just got a month ago. I must have stolen it at what I have in it. Somebody at the gun store told him this to make him come off the fence. The gun store sold a green Glock that had probably sat in their case for a while, and he was convinced that it was rare and special. Win,win...

I sold a Battlefield Green Gen 4 G15 and the guy didn't haggle over the price and he acted like he'd hit the lottery when he got it.
