Aromagin Review

After talking with @Chdamn about his experience with Aromagin, I ordered some to give it a try. I’ve been taking 1ml a day in the morning since Friday.

My deal is this:
I’m 50 and about 250 lbs. I’ve cut back my diet to a “modified Weight Watchers” since I got Covid before Christmas - when you’d have thought I was training for Sumo wrasslin weight class. I didn’t lose any appetite, and all I did was eat.

I had my doctor test my testosterone levels about a year ago, and my results showed levels that, while low, weren’t low enough to warrant treatment. I haven’t had the energy I felt I did just a few years ago, and it’s a lot harder to keep weight off.

Now, I don’t go to the gym but I have a rower and I get on it several times a week and walk with a goal of losing weight and increasing cardio fitness. I take meds for cholesterol and BP (heart attack 9 years ago), and I suspect those have made losing the pounds harder than it used to be.

I’m not trying to gain mass, more to lose fat and gain some energy and not get winded so easily. After PM’ing with Chad I thought this may be a good fit. I don’t necessarily want to start test replacement if my levels aren’t super low, and I’m hesitant to commit to a program that I can’t get off. My hope is that the Aromagin will balance the scale a little better in my favor.

The bottle showed up Friday and I started Saturday. Obviously it hasn’t been a week yet, but what I can report thus far is I feel like my energy level is better through the day. I haven’t weighed, and I wasn’t really expecting much change there yet. I haven’t had any negative effects. I was gonna wait a week or so to have more time in, but if there’s anyone in a similar situation maybe this helps. I’m definitely going to stick with it.

As Chad has mentioned, have a good chaser handy. It’s a strong flavor that will stay with you a few minutes.
I’m interested in hearing how this works out. My thoughts would be that with aromatase inhibition you are preventing conversion of testosterone to estrogen and therefore theoretically transiently increase your overall testosterone levels. My concern would be that this would initiate a negative feedback response wherein your body would downregulate testosterone production to accommodate the newly increased levels. Without exogenous testosterone supplementation this would mean that after a while continued Aromagin use would just be keeping you at your baseline hormone levels, while discontinuing the Aromagin would actually put you in a worse place than before you started, at least until your body once again ramped up testosterone production.

Again, these are just my thoughts so who knows

Typically, products like this are taken at the end of a testosterone cycle during a down period.

They keep you from being overwhelmed with estrogen while your body’s testosterone becomes active again.

So what you’re thinking shouldn’t be the case but like you said anything’s possible.

You know what?
I didn’t scroll properly and read @Chdamn’s posts wrong, and ordered the girl stuff that @Chdamn's Wife uses… FML

Its 2024, you can do that now. Lmao

Want to finish up the BPC 157 courses then likely give this a shot. Not sure I want to mix the two. Even if just to track results of them.

Totally agree, my thoughts were more oriented to the question of taking them in the absence of exogenous testosterone supplementation

A little over two weeks and I’ve decided to stop taking the Aromagin. I’d hoped to have even a fraction of the success @Chdamn has with this stuff, but it looks like this isn’t the right way for me. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m not taking testosterone. I did feel a little more energy through the day, but it wasn’t game-changing levels. I haven’t lost much weight at all, but I’ll take the blame for that as I haven’t been doing keto or anything really strictly. I just can’t sleep when I’m on the stuff. Regardless of how tired I go to bed I’m waking up frequently and often in a sweat. Wasn’t happening prior to starting the drug. Two weeks may not be a fair shake, but I gotta sleep better!

Good feedback. My package is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Mine arrived yesterday but not gonna start for a week. If it keeps me up though that will be an issue. Hoping to start it with better weather so I can get outside to exercise in addition to Aromagin.

Try taking it in the morning right after a small breakfast. That’s what I do.

Because of whatever makes it hot (probably capsaicin) it will give you a slight hot flash. But it subsides.

Taking it later in the day I could see it keeping you up.

Had to cinch my belt up another notch today.

Weight is hovering around 215-217 so about 30 lbs down so far.

I think if I get to 210 I’ll have a washboard stomach again.

Haven’t worked out this weekend because I’ve been wrecking my body spring cleaning, throwing out a ton of crap, getting rid of an oversized desk and building a smaller one.

Actual weight loss has kind of stabilized around 213 lbs but my I’m still losing fat (the harder areas now) and my waist is still getting smaller.

Had to cinch my belt another notch today to keep my pant from sliding over my hips. Must be losing a little there now.

I can comfortably fit into a true 35 inch waist pants now.

So I got a bottle of this and started taking last Sunday.
The good:
- Absolutely has given me more energy. Was coming home after work and going straight to couch. Now I have energy to do more things after work.
- have lost 5lbs in a week with no added exercise but I have tried to watch what I have eaten.
- Seem mentally more alert.
The bad:
- taste bad but it’s tolerable.
- I noticed the first few days that I did have more trouble going to sleep and staying asleep. That seems to have lessened though.
- kind of pricey.
I will definitely continue to take it at least till it runs out and decide if it’s worth continuing. The added energy has been the best part so far.

Are you on any other treatments/hormone supplements/etc.? Curious if it is useful for those not taking anything else.

Awesome. Glad to know it’s working for someone else. I was a little worried I was weird. lol.

Nothing besides my allergy meds, high blood pressure and cholesterol meds which I have been on for years.
Zero changed besides taking this and watching a little better what I eat. Nothing would explain the extra energy unless it’s a mental thing.

I've been holding off for some of the stuff I've been juggling to settle. In the meantime I asked a friend who's an endocrinologist if this is safe. She replied it's very similar to a pharma drug they give early teen boys if they start to develop breast tissue during puberty. Said it seems safe.

Thanks for checking on that. It’s good to hear as a lot of stuff isn’t all that safe.

You are! but for me the added energy alone makes it a pretty good thing.

Let me ask you this. Do you feel like it’s energy or drive?

I’ve a hard time explaining this. Yeah there’s an energy increase but I get more short term energy from a pre workout drink.

This, to me, is more akin to drive. I’m more driven and focused to do stuff.

Like you I was coming home and sitting on the couch. Unless something was really important I would put off small tasks and even large ones.

Now I sit on the couch, and I’m driven to get the hell up and finish a project or start a new one.

I guess it’s a little of both. Maybe I am calling drive energy. I don’t drink much or anything with caffeine so I am definitely getting the drive/energy from this.

I may need to give this stuff a try. I’m 46, about 260 (highest I’ve ever been), and generally feel like shit every day. Always tired, body aches from head to toe, and no drive. Granted, I get no exercise and eat like a man just released from a 30-year prison sentence. Add to all that, libido is super low and Mrs. Bashman is feeling the effects of my current situation, also.
I was on TRT for about 5-6 years but haven’t taken any injections in about 5 years. Been going steadily downhill ever since. My endocrinologist retired and a younger doc replaced him. He suggested clomid as an alternative. Insurance won’t cover the cost, so would have to pay out of pocket. So I’m been in a not ideal place for a while now.
If anyone else not currently doing T replacement/therapy is using this stuff, let me know what your long term results are.
