Duracoat is less permanent than Cerakote?I get a chuckle out of the "distressed" cerakote patterns. It's like buying your jeans with holes already in the knees.
I'm partial to a rattle can or DuraCoat approach. Something less permanent so I can change my mind like a politiciaatn in November.

Never used either but I have heard some prefer Cerakote. Just seeking out the voice of experience before I try my hand.Well, I don't know about when a pro does it, but my DuraCoat jobs haven't been much more durable than Krylon. I'm totally willing to accept that it's operator error.
I like the idea of ceracoating, especially if I ever decide to take one of my AR's in new direction with unusual colors. But for now, I think I'll stick with rattle can paint jobs.
Right now, my big issue is deciding if I should rattle can my AR10 or leave it black.

Look at your cute little bungee accessory.
Warsport would be proud!
He got the last one that was available. I'm not coating mine for that reason.I want one! Lol just not in the cards ATM
Krylon that bitch...she'll love it.
Scratches, dings, chips and rubs are nothing but smeared lipstick / makeup.
Did you paint that? If so, what was the process/materials used? I like it...a lot!Krylon that bitch...she'll love it.
