I guess I’m in the minority, but the shooter seems like a scared little twerp. If that encounter made him fear for his life and he seem like a pretty big wimp.

This is the good thing about being raised in some bad areas.
It would never occur to me that I could stalk some dude with my hand in his face and stare at him aggressively without talking....without getting happily straightened out, by someone that feels an obligation to improve society.

Having grown up in both scenarios [rural and super urban] - getting up in someones face, being told to f**k off and continuing to do so, would automatically earn you a beat down at least .... and no one would bat an eye.

The delivery guy may have been a scared twerp or maybe he believed he couldn't physically defend himself against a larger man+his friends.
Either way, he tried to diffuse it, tried to walk away; the other guy didn't listen when told to back off 3x.

All this "the perp is the victim" nonsense needs to end.

Glad the delivery guy was found not guilty.
He needs to be let out, yesterday.

I got a bad knee and fall over when I try to run. or stand too long. or just step slightly askew sometimes.
i'm only 5'7"
put 4 guys on me at once, it's almost certain that they're all gonna be bigger, so even if they aren't doing anything overtly threatening, odds are i'm gonna skip condition red and go straight to condition blackwatch plaid.

I can see some saying he didn't look to be in danger, but from his POV the ring leader was huge and he had a gang backing him up. They may have just been pestering him, but that's how bullies begin their work up to physical violence. The bully is an idiot, as shown by his behavior after the trail. His mom is a typical "my son can do no wrong" idiot, and his dad sounds like a complete cuck who has abdicated his responsibility as a father.
