Delivering papers at 2:30am?

Papers weren’t delivered at that hour fifty years ago, because I was delivering them, and they aren’t delivered (in my neighborhood) at that hour now.

Friends parents had a route. We covered for them from time to time. Papers were delivered to the drop off spot at 2am for the carriers to pick up.

I delivered papers from 2000 to 2002. I was out at 2:30 delivering each night.
Started about 1:30 or so.

What the hell is a narrative company? Could we take the"narrative" out and put in "propaganda?"
The demand for racism vastly exceeds the supply, so sites like that publish propaganda and other BS with the intent of stirring the proverbial pot.

She reportedly fired a round and dropped the mag, but who knows.

Black Star indeed.

Years ago, after I first got married, I heard a knock on my front door at around 4:30 AM. I went to the door with my nightstand gun at the
time a Taurus 66 loaded with .38 +P in my hand and answered the door after asking who was there. It was a newspaper deliverer who had
run out of gas. I let him have the gas that was in my can for the lawn equipment. You should have seen the look on his face when he saw
the revolver I was carrying. After the initial shock he understood where I was coming from.

theres the issue

edit/add: I recently posted on social media to something that I was tagged in about willingness to walk out/strike since the budget hasnt happened yet and so, as of right now, no teacher increases.
I told them that I would not strike, and that all the teachers in the state have the freedom to move on from teaching if they're so upset over the pay. Every teacher is college educated, there's nothing stopping any of us from moving on to a different career/job. I also stated that if people would budget their money they likely wouldnt complain so much - I own a home, take vacations, have a new(ish) car...and other cars and motorcycles. I have fun. And that's on a teacher salary.

They didnt like my comments. Oh well. Piss on them.

Nobody likes it when someone calls their kid ugly.

Good on you for pissing them off.

All these little bastards acting like they HAVE to do that job lol
Losers. Complainers.
Man, teachers dont get paid bad, I actually make enough to where I could be supporting half a dozen others and still wouldnt be at the US poverty line. And I only work about 3/4 of the year. (not a brag whatsoever, but an example)
And then there's the benefits - 25 bucks for health insurance. If you do 20+ years you got a check and insurance for life.

Are there issues? Yeah of course. Bring back masters pay - WANT your teachers to be better educated and trained.
But instead of complaining all the time, DO SOMETHING. And that's what I said.

I want more than teaching can offer financially. Youve never heard me complain about my salary - never have done it. Have I wanted more? Sure. But Ive NEVER complained about the pay. But Im doing something. Freaking liberals, just complaining and hoping someone does it for them. Tighten them laces up and pull yourself out if you feel so strongly.
Im busting my butt, struggling, right now with school. Just over 40 hours a week at work and then putting in time daily for college. Plus I have a wife and puppy. It's a lot of time. And, you know, getting decent amount (6 hours) of sleep.
But I know aint no one else going to do it for me.

Sorry for the ranting and side tracking
F the teachers union.
