As a resident of the great Palmetto state, I'd like to thank everyone for joining this group. I have been associated with these fine people through 3 different forums now. There is a lot of knowledge and entertainment to be had on this forum.
Please tell everyone that you know about this forum and encourage them to visit and sign up if they like what they see. There are many shooters, hunters, and outdoorsmen in SC that need to know about us. Let's all get the word out to them. There is no reason that SC cannot have the same number of members as NC.
I'll be visiting some local gun shops and ranges and letting people know about us. Will you do the same? If you have any ideas or suggestions as how to grow our membership, please share your thoughts. Thanks.
Larry

I've for sure brought one member here, and I too have been on CSF, CSC, and now CFF.

Great step forward guys to help increase our presence and participation in the great Palmetto state. I'm about 3 miles from the SC line and have many relatives there. I'm very much looking forward to working closely with more of our new SC members as they join up here.

Thanks for kicking this off Geezer .

Wasn't it you that put a post on Armslist? That's how I found CFF.

Thanks

Yes, sir!! That was me. Feel free and copy it and share it. What area of the state are you at?

I spread the joy of ME by living in NC....and part time in Laurens county SC :)

My SC neighbor is a big gun guy...so I'll get him to join up.

Is that where the boating accident happened?

Upstate in Pickens County. I'm not in the mountains, but I can see them from here.

I live in NC and work in SC. I've.belonged to all three forums and have done as many deals with SC members as NC members. Rutherford Co NC and Cherokee Co SC to be exact.

Anytime I talk to gun people I mention the forum.

It was a local gun store owner that pointed me to our merry band of gun lovers four years ago.

I can't remember what got me to join CSF back in the day. It may have just been an internet search for somewhere to chew the fat about guns. Because I no longer owned sportbikes, there wasn't much need in hanging out on their boards. So, the search for a new forum began.

Same, only not dirt bikes in my case

I will be moving back to my home of Charleston from Charlotte next year. I wish there were as many shooting opportunities as there were in Charleston as here in Charlotte. I am definitely going to look for action piustol places down there. At least I can shoot clay pigeons at the boat club I am a member of down there.

I just asked the mods on GlockTalk for permission to post the link to this forum in hopes to get more members.
Just got word they don't allow cross posting links. Man, I tried.

I notice that Palmetto Shooters Forum is back up.

It's a shame but that place is worse than watching paint dry.
