Got one of those and despite serious cleaning and lube...refuses to fire more than 2 or 3 rounds before a serious jamb up of a couple rounds.
Got 3 mags and they all do it.
Mags have been cleaned and light lube as well.
Any direction is much appreciated 🍻

Check your extractor. My 1928A1 had a burr running down the length of the extractor that was causing it to bind. A few minutes of deburring with a file and my jamb up problems were solved.

Can’t comment on the mechanics of the Thompson rifle but can comment on AO / Kahr CS. they are sticklers about the 1 year warranty and try to get customers to pay shipping. I’d get an RMA and have them service it ASAP so you’ve got enough time to ensure it’s adequately fixed before the 1 year is up. I’ve had to twist their arm to fix several Kahr pistols over the years and thus no longer support them. They will look for any reason to avoid fixing their firearms.

Will check that out thanks!

Did you figure it out yet
Was going to look at it last night during storm then power went out....got gen online then calls from work started.
But plan on maybe later this afternoon after working on getting new garage insulation up .🍻

Completely different gun, but I have an AO M1 carbine. That gun jammed once per magazine until it was fired maybe 300 times. During that break in period I learned it also needed new magazines and it didn't like it when the feed ramp got dirty.
Not it runs great, but dang the break in was expensive and frustrating. I've gathered from other forums that AO doesn't really care. Be sure to send it back if it's not right.
