B&E at the gun show

Wouldn't be surprised to see Charlotte City Council or Mecklenburg County officials try to use this to ban future gun shows and enact anti gun ordinances all in the name of public safety and keeping guns off the street.
 
This happened last year or the year before at a gun show, don't know if it was the same venue or not.
As to the security it was two off duty Mecklenburg deputies, who where probably napping or watching tv

Probably were preoccupied with Pornhub.

Smash and grab at the back, made off with a few handguns. There was a list of the handguns with serial #s circulating, maybe a half dozen. The fact that they didn't make off with more tells me the response must have been relatively quick.
 
They supposedly broke in a back window. The back window was broken out, with lots of jagged glass left in the frame. That window was 4-5 feet up in the air which begged the question how they got in and out without someone cutting himself. No blood was evident at the scene. Some people were crying inside job from the get-go, but who knows. I suppose it is possible someone with a building key could have left a back door unlocked and the broken window was cover for that. Security footage showed they all had hoodies up obscuring their faces, at least that is what we were told.

The story I heard was security was asleep at the front of the hall. They were off duty Charlotte PD. By the time they got to the back of the hall, the perps had fled.

They stole pistols from one dealer. 11 or 12. Don’t know if they got anything from anyone else. They took the cover off one of my tables and moved the covers on two more, but all they saw were old bolt action military rifles and they left my stuff alone. I found one of my table covers about 40 feet from my tables. The common denominator between me and the dealer who got hit is we were both at the very back of the hall with nothing between us and the back doors.

I heard nine of his guns were recovered at the scene in two different locations. The cops at the scene got harangued a bit that morning by some of the vendors about the performance the night before and they were pretty defensive about it.

That is all I know/heard. Hard to say what really happened without seeing the security footage, but even that was limited.

Or you're the culprit and messing your owns tables up to cover it up! Dun dun, dun dun dun dunnnnnn!
