Battery Oaks-B&M Rifle Indoor Range

This website makes my days joyous.
When we rebelled during the Canadian invasion of December '16...many thought we were unreasonable and reactionary. Said that we were reading too much into it.
Oh yeah we did some reading alright, and that included the fine print. Sure enough, the Canadians did exactly what they said they weren't gonna do and we we not about to stand by and watch them hot-iron a maple leaf on our hind quarters.
But it really didn't matter if it was Canadians, or purple Martians, or traitorous Americans.
We love our country. We love our Second Amendment.
And we love the camaraderie of our brothers and sisters who value freedom above all else.

You fit right in Billy. Fit right in, and we're glad you're here.

If one thing could come from these posts of our place, other than your pleasure, it would be that when we try to get a point across about something firearms related, it's not something we read or heard somebody say years ago. Know that all knowledge does Not flow from This fountain. Also know that when I try to help out with a problem concerning firearms, it's because we have already done it. We know what works and what doesn't. Through Doing, spending the time and effort hopefully to save ya'll some time and effort. We're here if we can help. That is not to say that I'm Not open to New things. Just things that are real, not things put out in theory.
I would be stunned if one of my fellow members on CFF was to be an end user of our product. Doesn't mean you don't have access to them if you need them though.
Rooster Cogburn's last line in True Grit as his jumped his horse over the fence has come to be my parting saying...so to All...Come See An Old Fat Man Sometime!!!

Any time spent at BatteryOaks is time WELL spent.

I know I learned ALOT the day we were in the lab. Amazing inspiration. World Class Wisdom & Knowledge.
Mike and Billy were laying out the ballistics and knowledge fast and furious. The DEPTH & QUALITY of data that B&M has accumulated is STAGGERING.
I have been inspired ever since.

Billy and Mikes stuff is featured in "Cartridges of the World"

I always walk away a little smarter after visiting CFF and Battery Oaks.
Thanks Byron, they were kind enough to put us in the Preface and about 8 or 9 other places in their new edition.

CFF is the place to be.....!!
Quality Membership, Quality, Mods, Quality Content... Everybody brings something of value to the CFF table.....

50 B&M. Google B&M Rifles and sit down and peruse what God hath wrought.

A humble sacrifice upon the altar that is B&M

How about Friday, March 29?

I will attend the NC Aquaculture Conference in Morehaid City on Saturday, an' it would be fun to go yer way first.
Absolutely!!!! Our esteemed Pal Butter will be here on the 29th with one of his shooting Pals. They will be ensconced in the Bunk House on the afternoon and evening of the 29th. We would all love to see you!!!!

Nice mouse gun.....how about a seven pound rifle all up with a 16-18 inch barrel spouting out 550 grain 50 cals at 2,400 FPS>
My Pard Chadam has some experience with one of these. He thought up our slogan...

B&M RIFLES TURN COVER INTO CONCEALMENT
I remember when Michael first brought the 50 Guide gun to the range. I shot it a few times, got some thump to it.

Billy, I was talking to Michael just the other day on another forum I’m on where this is fairly regular conversation about the B&M cartridges and several avowed users.

That trophy room is absolutely amazing! Just to think off all the stories behind those animals....wow!

I wanna be you when I grow up.

You don't have to wait that long. Do it now. All you have to do is drive to Conway, SC and be @BatteryOaksBilly for a day. He won't charge you a dime.

The grand old man of Big Bore J.D. Jones visited with us and said we had done more in detail work on big bores than had been done in the last half century. Quite a compliment. Thanks to All who like the pictures. You were very complimentary. I hope each of you goes away knowing that everything we have here is at your disposal. Lab, range, guns, ammo, targets, everything. As always Free to CFFrs. This website makes my days joyous.
I didn't realize you had done so much work with JD Jones. I learned about him when I first discovered the .300 Whisper years ago and marveled at the concept and development be put into it. Bought some of the early Redding dies that were spec'd incorrectly. Then saw the copycat .300 Fireball (had one of the barrels) and now the copycat .300 Blackout and wonder if JD got cut out of the credit (and rewards) for all his own development and research.

J.D never received a penny and the Blackout folks think they have invented the wheel. Ole J.D. was Way ahead of the current crowd.
