anybody use a neoprene belly band style holster for working out? Jogging, cycling, etc?

Not a belly band, but until I bought my first CJ holster late last year, I mainly carried using one of these: https://www.kangaroocarry.com/

It's an improvement over the very similar bushwacker (sp?) one I wore for several years. The bushwacker stored the mag parallel to the slide and under the grip, which I liked better...but the Kangaroo adds the shoulder strap which defiantly makes it more stable.

To be clear...no experience jogging with one, but lots of hours wearing it around for everyday tasks.

Tried it, and the setup printed like hell and shifted all over the place. While it didn't chafe, it was annoying having it in a different location every quarter mile. I've had much better luck with a 5.11 waist pack. Laugh if you want, but under a "size up" t shirt (I normally wear large, size up to XL) it conceals surprisingly well*, stays in place, and is a vast improvement in both retention and access.

* I wouldn't pick this for a "go-to" concealed setup, but for most outdoor interactions (say a 30-to-60-second conversation on the side of the road), most folks would have no idea the pack is even there. Plus, anyone who DOES see it... a) it's under a tshirt with none of the logo or pull tabs showing and b) many have no idea what they're looking at. I bought it not giving a **** about concealment, but it's been a pleasant surprise.

Not neoprene but some kind of harsh/hard nylon.
Rocking it for the last 3 yrs, first with an M&P9C, now a G43, running and on the road bike.
It's actually this one.

I like it when there is a layer between that and my skin. Usually when temps < 60s.
Otherwise, like just yesterday after 1.5 hrs on the bike, you get to really notice it.
I stash a lot in the back pockets of my jersey so I don't think you'd print if that's a concern.

Different gender... but I bought my wife a belly band holster for her Glock 42 last year, as she was into running and doesn't care for fanny packs.

The only issue that she had was that she really had to bury the gun deep inside the pouch to keep it stable while running, making quick access difficult. Otherwise, the band held fast and was comfortable for her to wear. On really hot days, the band would soak up a lot of sweat though. She'd had to rinse and air dry every few days to keep it somewhat clean.

I usually wear a older Bianchi nylon belly band when running at home. Carry a Smith 442 Pro at 4 oclock. Have ran too many miles in third world countries (Haiti, Iraq, Astan, Kenya,Ethopia) wearing a Bianchi fanny pack with either a full size M9 or M1911A1 and spare mags. It bounces around but threat was real. In Africa would cross paths with heyena's, loins and leopards.
