Grabbed this yesterday because it was there, and it’s never good to leave a gun store with cash. Know nothing about it other than the Bergara mags don’t drop freely, but the 10/22’s do. It looked nice and has a threaded barrel so I went all in. Now what should I do to it? New trigger probably. Eventually a suppressor. What are the cool kids putting on rifles like this for optics?

Nice! Didn’t know this was a thing! I love my Bergara B14HMR and haven’t changed anything on it.

I assume it’s a 10/22 action/mags? What’s the price range?

I've never heard of that model before, but its a nice looking 22! Looks like a 10/22 that's already been modded for accuracy.

They also have a version with a carbon fiber barrel that is stupid light weight. Fuquay had it for $599. I went sturdy and cheaper since I was buying a TRP as well. Damn budgets.

Found a few reviews that were so-so on the accuracy. We’ll see. I’ll just have to shoot the snot out of it and find out. But I need to decide on a scope or optic first. I have no clue. I tend to like smaller, lighter scopes as opposed to huge ones with 25x magnification.

Not a bad price on the carbon compared to MSRP. Is it significantly lighter than the one you bought?

As far as scopes...for a .22, there are a lot of great affordable choices in the 1X4, X6 or X8 ranges. Also a bunch of good choices in the good ole 3X9 category as well.

Yes, the carbon fiber is crazy light. If that’s important to you the price is a no brainer. I kinda bought this on a whim and because there was a little extra new gun cash money in my pocket. Didn’t want to dip into the credit card. Plus I had no prior use or thought on another rimfire rifle. But it looked good and after tax left me with $10 of cash gun budget to spare.

Found it at the link below. Looks like they have a carbon fiber barrel as well.

MSRP for the version above is $565, so aI assume street price is a little less??? Carbon version is about $100 more.

Mine was $489 I think. Or maybe $479? Can’t remember exactly, but it was just enough to suck up my budget. The carbon fiber version was $599 at Fuquay G&G so not too painful.

Enjoy the rifle. I had been considering one but I came across a deal I couldn't pass up on a CZ 455 American.
