So I have this Alloy framed BHP that I picked up. I am going to have Don Williams of the Action Works mill and install a set of sights for me and then weld up a extended wide thumb safety for the gun. I am going to install a Garthwaite Wide Flat trigger and a C&S Hammer, sear and spring set. I am basically looking to put good sights, a good trigger and a good thumb safety on it and call it a day. The other thing I am looking for is to refinish the gun. If it was steel I would just have it blued and call it a day but with the alloy frame I can't do that. I was looking at Bird Song Black T or Cerakote. If I went with silver color I would go hard chrome or nickel with http://www.mahovskysmetalife.com.

Anyone know a good Cerakote house within a reasonable drive of the Rutherfordton NC area.

Ford's can make it look like anything you want it to. I have 2 returning next week. More going out the following week.

I like Fords. They could black anodize the frame and matte blue the slide. They did this one for me in master blue.

Have they done work for you in the past?

Theyve held up just fine, no chips or flakes. The glock was done within the last year and the two CZs were done about 2.5 years ago or so
