Looking for the best place to buy cardboard targets. Found some online but the shipping was as much as the targets.

Shipping is expensive everywhere for big boxes of big cardboard targets.

Midwayusa and target barn.

See if anything at the Ben Stoeger pro shop tickles your fancy

Shipping is brutal, I believe they're "oversize". I think I got mine thru LETargets which is one banner of many for the actual distributor. I think they worked out to 2.0 per cause I wouldn't spring for 100 which IIRC shipped for the same or just a couple bucks more. Paste 'em up, they last a long time. Shipping is just as ridiculous for pasters FYI so throw them on your order.

The last time I ordered I got them from LE Targets. I think I order 50 and they came out to be about $.80 a piece. as @Beef15 said about the same price per piece as getting 100. 100 is a lot of targets. I still have over half my order from 2 years ago.

*Corrected reflect 50 was the same per unit price as 100z

Uline.com has an assortment of cardboard products in various forms and styles. Dumpster diving is always the cheap way to go if you're low on funds.

It is entirely possible I am not remembering the price correctly. Was probably about the same timeframe.

Per price for 50 was the same or just about the same as for 100.

When you go to a local match, talk to the MD. Ask if the used targets are getting thrown out and you can have them instead for practice. Normally good for quite a few more range sessions, especially the no-shoots and the ones that were set up for head shots. Or ask if you can get in on his next bulk order.

Pasters are cheapest from Target Barn.

This^^. We throw out all targets used during the match. Any and all of them are available to take home.

That just might work in my house...

“Honey, we need to eat more pizza; so my shooting will improve.” :D

I say make your own. It’s way too easy to find a store near you that will gladly give you a ton of boxes. Make a template for you to use and you can make yourself as many as you want. One place I would look is retirement homes (I work for one). We throw/recycle all of our boxes out and we have an endless supply since we get food orders once or twice a week. Talk to the chef and find out when there delivery’s are and tell them you will come get the boxes so they don’t have to drag them to the dumpster.
