Best red dot for a sub compact?

I have several Holosun 507 and 407 optics. Love 'em. However, my wife is wanting to let her Glock 42 go and move to something like a 365 or Hellcat. Her regular gun is a PDP with a 507 and she loves it. She wants this subcompact (walking gun) to have an optic. I know there are newer optics out there. What would be the most appropriate for such a small gun? I'd think the 507/407 would stick out over the edge of the slide. Thanks for your opinions fellas!

The 407K/507K are going to be what you want to look at, that footprint is for small guns like 365/hellcat. EPS carry if wanting an enclosed optic.

FYI - “EGunCo” is iirc simply a subsidiary of KYGunCo; I’ve made at least one purchase from EGunCo very recently and they not only had the lowest price (appears now as well as then) all went smoothly.

407K overhangs a P365 slide by about 1mm unless you're counting the battery cover. It's unnoticeable.

They have two models of the 407 & 507. The 407C/507C is for full-size firearms. The 407K/507K is the one you want for subcompacts.
