Best TV theme song

... but there are other classics too like M*A*S*H, Rockford Files, Magnum P.I., Dukes of Hazzard ... dang old MeTV and such sure bring back the good old memories when TV wasn’t about BS like keeping up with cardashians, outing off the island or other crappy TV ...
 
I like the various Star Trek themes (Voyager is the best, in my opinion) with two exceptions: the original series theme (terrible) and the theme from Star Trek Enterprise (even worse). The composers of those two themes should be dressed in red shirts and sent on an away team.
 
Happy Days, without a doubt, my favorite theme song.

I didnt watch the show, I was a kid when it was on, but my dad loved it. And now I hear that song here and there and can remember a time hearing it in my home as a child.

TOS is kind of a head scratcher because of the excellent soundtracks for individual episodes.

FWIW, the lyrics to the song were written by Michael Altman ( son of the director of the original movie, Robert Altman) when he was only 14 years old.
In the 1980's the senior Altman claimed that he only realized $70,000 from movie profits yet son Michael netted (song) royalties of over $ 1,000,000...:eek:
