Folks, this might be a little early but we're trying to get ahead of everybody having a full calendar:

December 5th, 2020 our Annual Christmas Gathering is Back! We would like ALL that can possibly be here to come join us at The Battery Oaks for a Southern Christmas Gathering. We would like to eat around Noon. We will "fill in the blanks" as we go along. Just wanted All to see the dates .

Try to come, there will be BST Tables set up so everybody bring the stuff you want to sell or pockets of money if you want to buy. This will hopefully be a celebration after the election and a joyous Christmas homecoming. All Battery Oaks Alumni are expected and it will be a grand time for new comers to come and share your company.

Billy and Ronnie Sue

I need my audit schedule for 2020 (COVID has delayed it), but it is currently on my calendar!

Can somebody come by and pick me up? I can pitch in a couple of dollars for gas.
I’ll see if my dad will fly me out there and grab you. Man, that would be an expensive pair of round trips, assuming you’d also need a ride home. :D

@BatteryOaksBilly and @RS would pay for my return flight just to get rid of me. :)

As it stands right now, I have plans to be there. We are thinking of being in Virginia for Thanksgiving, then Rural Hall to visit our friend there, then onward to Conway. Of course, this a long time away and things can happen. Heck, after the election it may not to be safe to travel anywhere. But, as it is now, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone.

Let's jus' hope that if South Carolina is gonna consider seceding for the third time, it will all be settled by December!

It is early yet but, I put it on the calendar. I have plenty of time to find someone to cover for me at work. Of course this will be during vacation blackout for spouse. I hate that he might miss out.

By that he means don't forget to bring your passport.

I expect by then we will have mutual diplomatic recognition with the Republic of Texas, from which I do have a passport.

In case you've not been sponsored for naturalization as a citizen of the Republic of Texas yet, there are four unwaivable requirements.

1. You must be able to properly pronounce Y'all. (You should have that covered.)
2. You must be able to yell a passable "Ye Haa." Pitch and volume requirements apply.
3. You must be able to dance the Texas Two Step. (Steel toed boots are recommended for your partner.)
4. You must be baptized in the Brazos River.

Be careful! That last one is a trap just for Yankees! That river has eighteen foot alligators!
