Cool, going to try their medium and dark sampler/variety packs.
I just ordered the medium sampler myself.
Also got a bag of their bourbon infused medium roast.
You know, cuz I like bourbon...and coffee...and bourbon in coffee. We can blame that on my granddaddy lol

I don't drink coffee. But I'm intrigued by the ChemEx 3 cup coffee maker...

I just ordered a bag of that and the Gunslinger blend. Gonna try that Cognac infused one next. I plan to review them on my YouTube channel.

I have a bag of this coming as well, and a peanut butter....
You guys will have to share how those flavored ones are. Bourbon I might be on-board with. Peanut butter...... it will need a glowing review from Butter . ;)

Supposedly it is the best thing going as far as a fairly simple maker. It takes a little more effort than a set and forget drip, but everyone I talk to loves their's.
I may brake down and get one too.

If you get one let us know...

Could be one of those random gifts for the wife one day.

Post it up here, Im curious to hear your thoughts
Will do. I've been doing a coffee review series on veteran owned coffee companies for a while now. BRCC is good but there are a lot more vet owned and supporting coffee companies that don't get their level of publicity. They all make outstanding coffee and are worth supporting.

Welcome BPR, thats awesome that they'll offer us a discount.
I'll keep them in mind for when I need to order/buy more coffee

Looks like they are in the same building as a 1911 manufacturer in Mooresville ( Race City USA ). Lots of good karma going on there.

Tracking shows my order to be delivered by Thursday, One Eyed Jack and Peanut Butter. Looking forward to trying Peanut Butter Coffee. Southern Pecan Pie will be the next one I try.

I just got an email alert saying that my coffee order has been delivered. Looks like I'll get to try the Peanut Butter coffee this evening.

I always drink my coffee black and I like it strong. This Peanut Butter is a Medium Roast. I put some of this in the percolator and heated it up. My first sip I knew that it was gonna need a little something. I put 2 packs of Stevia in it and that's just what it needed. I'm liking it! Not a strong, overwhelming peanut butter taste but just enough. I'll buy more of this but I want to try the Southern Pecan Pie next.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you others think of your selection. Thank you Black Powder Roasting, I'm hooked.

Mine showed up today as well. I’ll be trying pecan pie at 4:30am tomorrow. I’ll send ya a pic while I’m drinking it, on the couch, in my boxers

Two cups this time of day may have been bad judgement on my part. I may still be up at 4:30. Right now, I think I could thread the needle on a sewing machine....while it's running.

Hahaha you don’t sleep anyway. That was a poor choice.

Sleep is over-rated.

I don't remember the last time I saw one of those much less heard the word.

I'm going shopping for a percolator.

My coffee arrived yesterday. I'll try to video my review tomorrow and get it edited and uploaded over the weekend. Gonna try the Bourbon infused first!

Terry

I got mine yesterday too, but didn't get a chance this morning to make any!

I swear there was something on their website that said what their recommended water to coffee ratio is, but I can not find it now. I need to know how much for these 4 oz sample packs! :p
Anyone else see that too??

Otherwise I'm just going to try 10 tablespoons and 30 oz of water. That should just about be the entire sample pack I think.

I tried the Prospector's Gold this morning and it turned out to be pretty good.
Although I can't remember if I did the 2 tablespoon per 6 oz of water or per 5 oz of water ratio. The kids were a little distracting this morning trying to "help" dad make coffee. ;)

So it was either 10 or 12 slightly rounded tablespoons for 30 oz of water.

I did call a little while ago and they recommend 12 grams of coffee per 8 oz of water.
I also found on their website where they suggest 7 grams of coffee per 5.2 oz of water.
So I guess I am going to go get a little kitchen scale and start doing this stuff like a Colombian drug lord! :D

BTW, not sure who I spoke to on the phone, but they were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to trying the rest with their ratios!
