I thought I had my BRD under control. Then I had a flare-up. You see, there's been this covert bag just sitting empty in my closet. I bought it for a gun I ended up selling, but I kept the bag thinking it might fit a different one that was at the time case-less. That didn't work out by half an inch so the bag sat looking sad and being empty.

I caught a glimpse of it the other day while digging in the closet. I was reminded of it's status as a bag with no rifle. Then I found myself flush with cash from an unexpected sale of a LPVO I had listed on BST and pulled due to apparent lack of interest. That got me thinking that I always wanted to build a rifle that was forward charging and bufferless. Maybe a piston operated gun...but really wanted to save weight. I abhor heavy guns that shoot tiny bullets. So a conundrum...until I saw that Foxtrot Mike released it's FM15 upper. https://www.brownells.com/guntech/foxtrot-mike-fm-15-gen-2/detail.htm?lid=18500
Yesterday parts started showing up so the build is underway. I'm waiting on a trigger to show up, otherwise pretty much done.
And that's how the extra bag turned into a whole gun. .

So guys, do you think she'll buy it? 🤔 LOL

Tim - how are you liking the FM15 upper since you've bought it? After pickup up the X95, I have bullpup fever and am thinking about an idiotic FM15/SCY REAP bullpup AR...

It's a nice upper. The one thing I'd advise if you keep the charging handle mounted to the left is to use an ambi lower, or a BAD lever. Trying to safely lock the bolt open is basicly impossible otherwise.

Nice tennis racket case. I need to block PSA from my email or I will be in the same boat. I keep telling myself I dont need another one. I dont shoot the ones I have and I just bought 1000 pcs of new brass.
