Do you ever watch Bloke On The Range? This English guy's friendly , informal videos are educational, entertaining and humorous, and he is possibly the least threatening gun guy on the Internet. His Youtube channel was terminated today:

I have let Youtube know I watch his channel frequently, he has done nothing remotely offensive, and I will go wherever I have to to watch him. YOUTUBE is offensive. I know: their business, their rules; but I hope everyone will give them an earful, in a calm, respectful but firm way. Our cause is not served by a raging rant.

If we want to persuade more people to embrace the 2A, or just recruit people interested in firearms, Youtube is the place to do it. There are other places we can watch gun content, but they won't reach a fraction of the audience Youtube does. We can't afford to lose it.

Had never heard of him. What stuck out most to me was the map over his right shoulder LOL. It's where I'm at in my avatar picture.

I watch a TON of youtube and never heard of him. Why did he get terminated?

Without watching an 8 minute video, why was he kicked off?
Before you expect us to grab our pitchforks, we should know the reasons behind it.

Same thing happened to Jordan Peterson, his posts are him teaching in a university philosophy classroom.
Because he used Google calendar and email, they nixed all of those as well.
He went to Twit and explained what was going on, there was enough of a response he was reinstated a couple hours later with no explanation for what they had done.
gOOgle motto--> "Do Evil"

That's just it. He got an automated email (in French, no less) that said his video violated Youtube's terms of service and his channel was being terminated. Essentially the same response when he appealed. No real reason given, no three strikes. Believe me when I tell you his videos are inoffensive, mostly having to do with shooting and modifying milsurps. If you don't care, then forget it, your favorite channels are safe - NOT.

Looks like he's back online again. I feel this kind of thing will become more and more common as the YT community is self policing, and there's a whole pile of basement dwelling SJW's looking to stamp their mark and eradicate any thought or opinion that differs from their own.
He's lucky - most smaller channels or startup channels will not have the contacts to be able to save their channels.

For me the biggest issue with this is that YT clearly don't actually know why channels are getting strikes or being terminated, just that they "violated the terms" - IMO, the email to the channel should state the exact term of service that was violated, which video(s) violated it, and the timestamp of the video(s) concerned.

Facebook is doing something similar with their "False news notification" system.
