Howdy CFF! I've been absent for a few weeks trying to catch up on orders with the pen making side gig and dealing with some unexpected demand for my new Diamond Cast pen blanks I'm selling to other pen makers. I did want to make sure I check in though and remind everyone that a nice pen is an awesome Christmas gift and is perfect for that person that either has everything already or is super hard to shop for. Believe me, I've yet to find anyone that was sad about getting a pen as a gift. The only complaint I ever hear is "Oh great, I'm going to lose it." I do offer a guarantee that if you lose your pen, I'll sell ya another one ;)

In any case I'm a little light on bolt actions after doing 2 craft shows but I am ordering more kits and can custom make them as needed. For those looking for gifts for the non-gun crowd I have a number of VERY nice pens to offer there as well.

Here are a couple of the bolt action I have: ($35)

Some of the nicer pens in stock currently: ($90-100)

Middle of the road cost wise: (~$40)

In case you're wondering, I call it Diamond Cast because I cast a two part urethane resin and mix in both mica pigments and real diamond dust. Every pen I make from this has real diamond in it to add to the depth and sparkle. So far as I can tell I'm the only one doing this and the demand has been a bit crazy from other pen makers. I can do quite a few different colors so if you're looking for something specific let me know.

MOST of my pens are listed here: http://mckenziepenworks.etsy.com but I may have something not listed so let me know if you're looking for something in particular. I'm finishing up a 28 pen order for Christmas gifts so get your custom orders in QUICK so I can be sure to have them on time for the holiday!

Do you sell your pens at local craft fairs? If so, I think my MIL bought one of your bolt action pens for me a while back. Nice pen and looks great! Hopefully it is one yours! ;)

Not likely one of mine, I've been turning pens for 10+ years now but I only just started selling them maybe 7 months ago. Did my first two craft fairs back in October. Tell ya what, that's a tough way for someone to make a living if it is their primary income! Whole new respect for the folks that do that all the time.

Do you make sticks of the chop variety?
