I' currently reading a book titled Going Home by American (a pen name, of course) for the second time. It's both interesting and scary. I recommend it to all. There's no doubt in my mind that every prepper on here has read it.

I'm on a DnD-isekai-lit-rpg kick right now, I just find the genre hilarious. I know, nerd.
The Noobtown series has some hilarious characters, especially Badgelor, the homicidal, sociopathic badger, and Shart, the needy, sarcastic demon.
Drew Hayes' NPC's series has some really good plotting, really any of his stuff.
The Critical Failures series, funny, not as funny as Noobtown, but more plot centric, worth a read.

Anyone got some other fun genres to check out? Before this I did 'pathetic/inept villain protagonist' and 'boring monster', might go for something meatier next time. For a lark did 'bad Jane Austen homage's', that was hilarious, when viewed as comedies.

well, i tried it and did not like it.

1. Florida. only one or two insects. no way.
2. Curse words. too many for me to enjoy reading.
3. the E-book cost was out-of line. i got took.

it is not even close to One Second After.

I liked it. Got 'Surviving Home' or whatever was the 2nd...ok,not as good. Got the third and just couldnt get into it.

You shouldnt, people have different opinions and that's ok.
Going home was good, maybe a bit unrealistic on how much he was carrying, but it was a good read
