Boston Butt

If it's like most of mine recently, I hope you don't plan to eat tonight. My last 10 pound took 16 hours smoking right at 225 to get to 203. I cooked an 8 pound a couple weeks ago and it took 12 hours. I'm doing 3 8 pounders next Friday night for a neighborhood street get together. I've never cooked 3 at the same time on my Kamado style Primo grill so I'm looking forward to it.

If you want to eat tonight, you might go ahead and crank it up to 275 or higher. It won't hurt anything.

This just needed to be cooked dinner is all set...I plan an hr per lb.

Pulled it off just as it hit 180 internal and it cut apart with a spatchula....no pics it's going to get shredded for nachos and a few other dishes.

Did a 9 and 8 lb together last week. Probably about a 14 hour cook, but man did it turn out great. Used a mix of apple and hickory. My wife isn’t a huge fan of smoked meats, but she couldn’t get enough of this. Was great for sandwiches, just a big ol’ pile on a plate and we did pulled pork nachos. So many other options too. Need to do some loaded pulled pork baked potatoes next. (Wish I would have taken some pics.)

We got the cooking down just fine but feel free to stop by and mow the grass next week lol.
For some smoked beef?!?!?! You provide the address ( and food.........and drink) and I'll provide the sweat!!
