Well another few things marked off for me today.
Got me a new reloading book, so many, wasn't sure which to get, so I got the one I found to be the latest published one. Modern Reloading, by Richard Lee, second edition. published last year.
Also got me a book to record my loads, Lyman reloader data log, and a Lee drum powder measure for my Lee Loadmaster, now I should be able to dial in my loads a little better.

Happy Guy

I am not sure the Lee book is the one book to have if you can only have one. The data in it are from other sources, may be quite old, and are often quite incomplete. The choices of powders in many data sets can be quite limited or limited to only one powder brand. The Hornady and Lyman books seem to be much better choices. You can also get lots of good data from the web sites of the various powder makers. About the last place I would look for data is from some dude on a web forum who has a favorite load.

I do have a Lee manual as well as several others. I doubt that I will ever buy a more recent version of the Lee even though I regularly get updated versions of several other manuals.

Have some good safe fun with the loading.

Yeah, the Lee data is from the powder manufacturers, which can be old. More info is available on the websites. I like the Lyman, Hornady, and Speer books myself.

For specialty bullets such as Barnes and Nosler partitions, the manuals put out by those bullet makers for their specific bullets are good investments. All 150 grain 30 caliber bullets are not the same and may be at their best with different data.
