My definite maybe turned into a no, and now a don't matter anyway. LOL
 
The Buccaneer Gun Club IDPA match for Saturday, September 1, 2018 will start at our usual time of 10AM. The cost for the match is $15 if you sign up online prior to midnight on August 31st and $25 after that time or at the match. We are using electronic scoring devices and when you sign up online it saves us time in match setup.

I signed up, but there is a special clays shoot that day that might preempt this pistol shoot. I'll know later in the week.
 
I had registered, had to withdraw. I won't be shooting anything this Saturday, due to work and other responsibilities.
 
Darn, I am not going to be able to make it tomorrow. Was driving to work and my front passenger brakes started grinding. Have to check it out tomorrow and don't want to do a 2 hr drive there and back in case something happens. Give my regards to Lon and the gang.

The Buccaneer Gun Club IDPA match for Saturday, December 1st will start at 10AM as usual. This will be an IDPA BUG (Back up gun) match and it is limited to revolvers with 3" or shorter barrels and semi autos with 3.6" barrels or less. You may use a non legal BUG firearm to shoot in this match but you will be scored as "Not For Competition". The cost for the match is $10 if you sign up online prior to midnight on November 30th and $20 after that time or at the match. Signing up online saves us time in scoring and allows us to get you added to our electronic scoring. If you don't sign up online you will be scored as Not For Competition. We are planning on six 10 rounds stages and all magazines will be loaded with six rounds. You will be required to draw from concealment (you will need a holster, pocket holsters are OK) and ALL RELOADS WILL BE ON THE CLOCK. All stages are unlimited.

The cost for the match is $15 if you sign up online prior to midnight on February 1st and $30 after that time or at the match. Signing up online saves us time in scoring and allows us to get you added to our electronic scoring. If you don't sign up online you will be scored as Not For Competition. We are planning on six high round count stages so plan on bringing 100 rounds in case you need to reshoot a stage.. Please be at the range by 9:30AM to check in. BGC is a cold range (YOU MAY NOT HAVE A LOADED FIREARM UNTIL DIRECTED TO LOAD BY A SAFETY OFFICER WHEN YOU ARE ON THE FIRING LINE) and eye and ear protection is required for everyone including spectators. Please bag and unbag your firearms in one of our four designated safe areas. They are clearly marked as such and if you are unsure, just ask one of the match personnel to direct you to one. Again, a concealment garment (vest, jacket etc.) is REQUIRED for this match. Please observe the 13MPH speed limit when entering and leaving the club. That had a few of the most sadistic stages I've shot to date.
Note to self. Don't piss off the Buccaneer match director.

July's match is a BUG match, just got Lon's email:

The Buccaneer Gun Club IDPA match for Saturday, July 6th will start at 9AM or 0900 because of the heat. We plan to wrap up early so please be at the range by 0830 to check in. This will be an IDPA BUG match and concealment will NOT be required. We are planning six (6) ten round UNLIMITED stages; all reloads will be on the clock, and Semi-Auto magazines will be loaded with exactly SIX rounds. All draws will be from a holster and pocket holsters and appendix carry holsters are acceptable. The cost for the match is $15 if you sign up online prior to midnight on July 5th and $30 after that time or at the match. Signing up online saves us time in scoring and allows us to get you added to our electronic scoring. If you don't sign up online you will be scored as Not For Competition. For this BUG match you may shoot BUG-SEMI (semi autos with a 3.6" barrel or shorter) or BUG-Revolver (Revolvers with a 3" or shorter barre)l. All other guns may be shot but you will be scored as NFC (Not for Completion). The stages will be minimally complex so we can move shooters along very quickly. Again, please be at the range by 8:30AM to check in.
