I probably won't do one of these till it gets cooler, but I do intend to do one. Had car issues the other day, so didn't get to the one I had signed up for....booooo.....
 
$15 if you sign up online prior to the match, and $30 if you don't. Are they behind on their mortgage?

It saves a lot of time to have shooters pre-registered instead of having to do it the morning of the match. They give a break on the match fee to those that pre-register.
 
The Buccaneer Gun Club IDPA match for Saturday, August 3rd will start at 9AM or 0900 because of the heat. We plan to wrap up early so please be at the range by 0830 to check in. This will be an IDPA BUG match and concealment will NOT be required. We are planning six (6) ten or 15 round UNLIMITED stages; all reloads will be on the clock, and Semi-Auto magazines will be loaded with exactly SIX rounds. All draws will be from a holster and pocket holsters and appendix carry holsters are acceptable. The cost for the match is $15 if you sign up online prior to midnight on August 2nd and $30 after that time or at the match. Signing up online saves us time in scoring and allows us to get you added to our electronic scoring. If you don't sign up online you will be scored as Not For Competition. For this BUG match you may shoot BUG-SEMI (semi autos with a 3.6" barrel or shorter) or BUG-Revolver (Revolvers with a 3" or shorter barre)l. All other guns may be shot but you will be scored as NFC (Not for Competition). The stages will be minimally complex so we can move shooters along very quickly. Again, please be at the range by 8:30AM to check in. BGC is a cold range (YOU MAY NOT HAVE A LOADED FIREARM UNTIL DIRECTED TO LOAD BY A SAFETY OFFICER WHEN YOU ARE ON THE FIRING LINE) and eye and ear protection is required for everyone including spectators. September IDPA Match

The IDPA match for Buccaneer Gun Club scheduled for September 5th will start at 9 AM and will be a little different from most IDPA matches we typically hold. Because of ammo shortages, we will be shooting five 10 round UNLIMITED stages and a five round UNLIMITED warm up stage for a minimum of 55 rounds. Bring a few extra rounds if you can just in case you need to reshoot a stage. We will start with five rounds in the gun on every stage and reloads will be from five round magazines. Concealment will be required (vest, jacket shirt etc.). We are planning on stages with very close targets with multiple non threats and a lot of very tight shots. We don't plan on any targets beyond 10 yards. We hope to make this match challenging, different and interesting. Please be at the range by 0830 to check in and please observe the 13 MPH speed limit when entering and leaving the club. Like last month, we hope to make this match challenging, different and interesting. Okay, so not to name names, but we’ve got a match director, a deputy sheriff, a Flat Earther, and an amateur astronomer (read: NOT Flat Earther) possibly riding in my truck.

When the debate ensues over how we could view Saturn’s round rings this week next to Jupiter’s gigantic roundness and the closest conjunction in 800 years, I will commission, nay, I will pay the deputy sheriff to make me stop on the side of I-40 so he can taze the debate team, put them in cuffs, and make them ride in the bed of the truck till they regain their composure.
