Truth be told, I only built the lower from parts. The upper was purchased complete. I am only into this for $418.39 total. Not as cheap as @Ikarus1 Cheaperator but still pretty cheap without getting into PTAC territory. I may add an optic down the road but for now I will shoot the irons. Pretty great times when you can build a new, descent quality rifle for less than a used Glock.
PSA lower with MOE/EPT trigger lower build kit.
PSA midlength Nitride Freedom upper w/MOE handguard.
Toolcraft Nitride BCG.
Generic CH.
PSA rear BUIS.

Aint nothing wrong with an iron sighted rifle. However as cheap as holo and red dots have gotten nowadays Ive gotten spoiled. I have put my TRS25 and a Amazon sourced 3x magnifier (TMS?) And its the funnest rifle I have with cheap ammo to boot

@Ikarus1
How do you like the NCstar handguard now that you've had some time with it?
Love it. Its highly functional, light weight and seems to be quality aluminum. I probably will never free float this rifle either. UTG/VISM/Leapers stuff has really came a long way. All this thing needs now is a paintjob or cerakote

I think I’m going to pick one up. Thanks.

Only thing I could possibly knock it for is a bit of fore and aft travel (like 1/8") if I pull or push hard on it. That may be rectified with some creative adhesive or or something around the handguard retainer ring in front.
It doesn't affect anything I do, since I don't mount any optics on a rail forward of the reciever, even on FF setups.
