buffer spring/

has anyone used the jp or something like this? any good?

I have been running a gen 1 silent capture for almost 3 years now. I use mine mostly on my 6.8. I have used them on a 450 Bushmaster, and 5.55).

Love them and worth the money. If I had the money all my current and future rifles would have them.

I have never actually bought one, despite wanting one for quite a while. It's a stiff price and regular buffer/spring work fine.
That said, I think it makes the rifle incredibly smoother and love the feel on the few guns I have tried with them. It eliminates the "sproing" sound of the spring, which I actually never notice but it bothers some.
At some point I am going to bite the bullet and buy one for my rifle with a low mass bcg.

It's not a necessity, but its a super nice part. Like all JP parts. I am a big fan and when I hit the lottery I am ordering one of them fancy JP rifles to go with my new Infinity pistol!
Probably stop talking to all you people at the same time. I keed I keed.

Thank you..
Thinking of putting one in my ar pistol

Do it if you can afford it. You wont be disappointed.

Only gripes now is the buffer spring retainer-

1- Leave it in and its a PITA getting it out and in.
2- Take it out and it slides out and hits the hammer and what not. PITA if your inspecting anything where you have to pop the rear take down pin out.
