what are you guys or your grandmas using for bulk storage of Flour, sugar, rice and beans?
what kind of canister for everyday use? I don't think I want to lift a 5-10 gal. Bucket just to make cornbread or a cake.

Flour, sugar and rice can go in any size food safe dry container of any size with an oxidation pack for long term results. Beans will last a couple years but with get tough with time. I heat mason jars to 225 and add cleaned beans/lentils and lid. You can add an oxidation pack to these also for best results. Also keep ANY sunlight away from stored goods, clear container or not.
If you have to get into your long stores I dont think the weight will be an issue...lol
