Bullseye Sporting Goods Groundhog shoot April 7th

I may amble down that way since I'm close.

I shot this 30years ago when I was still a Young Man, the targets are at 100,300, and 500, three shots at each, my cousin and I shot fals that day with iron sights . The winners were three guy with a 300 win mag barrel and action mounted on an adjustable rest, it had a lanyard in place of a trigger but it shot lights out. Hopefully this type of device isn't allowed any more.

They have a factory class and custom class. My friend called to get details. You can have a factory gun bedded and trigger work done, that's all I believe. No added weight, etc.

Yeah, I figured things had changed a lot in 30 years, just wondering, are all shots still fired from the prone postion,

Yea. I'm guessing they shoot at little steel gophers? Not sure how they do the scoring for a winner with hundreds of people there
May be different now, but it used to be a glossed card board gopher target, winner was determined by smallest measured group total for the three distances

If youre on the Book of Faces...I recall seeing a post on their page that outlined scoring and such. If you cant find it, you can message them through there, or call the shop directly at 704-462-1948, and Chad or Mike will tell you all you want to know. Really good guys...but be warned, Mike can bs with the best of em lol
The egg shoot is a hoot. Folks really get into it. Last year, I believe it was a 9 year old boy won the kids class. Shot once cold bore, missed by about an inch or so, second shot splattered it. Kid is on it lol Spend that two bucks and enter lol.
I hadnt been in years due to bouncing around in the .mil, but managed to make it last year. The turnout was huge.
It's definitely a goid time.
