Soon I will be buying 2 ARX-100 SBRs off gunbroker, I was wondering if anybody on here was a Class 3 dealer with SOT before I buy them and have them sent to my LGS I can have them sent to you instead. This is my first venture into the NFA world.

i told him you told me to :D
Transfer fee just doubled.
This reminds me of an episode that’s worth telling...

Before he disappeared ( ), @Prosecutor and I attended some gun shows together. We were wandering around one and I looked back over my shoulder to see that he was waving at me from a table way behind. I went back and he was pointing to a nice S&W 39-2 (a gun EVERYONE should own). I took a look and began discussing the price with the seller (someone Ryan had apparently traded with several times). Ryan left me to it and wandered off. When I finally made the deal and paid the guy, he said, “You only got that deal because you’re a friend of his”.

I always wondered how much less it would have been had I gone alone. :D

last seen Apr 2... lol

Texted me yesterday when my stamp came back........good dude all together......and i will call him a professional. He has answered my nfa questions without having to think about it. They also engraved my form1 can.....super happy!

the only issue i have is he's an hour and a half from me, i can have them sent to my LGS which is 10 minutes away and they're also 03 SOT but have been having lots issues with people trying to break in (Atlas Firearms) this is one reason i made the post

I’ve always wanted to pick one of these up. Botach has them for $899 but their shipping is super slow.

I use The Gun Shop on National Hwy in T'ville. 3 supressors and an SBR later I am very pleased with the the way Gary handled my transactions. And though he doesn't post much he is also a member here.

I am giving the SOT up this year (just not renewing). I agree that there is NOBODY better than Tarheel State. He even answered a couple of questions I had when I first got my SOT.
Since it’s a paid transfer, I don’t think there’s an issue with it being expired when it’s approved. It just needs to be valid when you receive it on the Form 3 transfer and (I’m assuming?) on the day you file the Form 4.

Do they not make pistol braces for the ARX? I just don’t get why anyone would pay to SBR anything nowadays with how good the braces are..

No there are no braces, the ARX is a discontinued firearm, they had wiiiiiiiiiide aspirations for it but it never took off, like the SCAR 16S and the ACR

The only way to get a shorter one is to either find an SBR or get the kit

Its gas piston with a detachable barrel, so its easy to form 1 a 16" ARX if you have one

They were gonna make it in 300blk, and 308 with different barrel lengths that would all fit in the plastic ARX body, huge fail, great gun tho

Another plus 1 for Tarheel State Firearms. I’ve purchased NFA items and had engraving done by Scott. I’m about 2 hrs away and it was worth the drive. They’ve always took the time to answer and questions, great communications, and easy to deal with. As a side note there are many great places to eat up around the Charlotte/Matthews area. I generally make a day out of it. Stop grab some food, hit bass pro shops, and a couple other places then head home.
