Police: Man injured trying to stop armed robbery at Rock Hill Circle K

Both men fought over the gun, which was fired twice, injuring the victim, police said.

Drove past this store yesterday and commented to my wife never to go there due to rampant criminal activity. Woke up today to see this.
Brand new nice looking Circle K but a crime magnet apparently.

Good Samaritan is lucky and criminal is a dipsh!+.
Stand up move but maybe not the smartest.

Hello my name is Mary Jo! My fiancé was shot July 21st at the circle k on cherry road in between Cookout and Waffle House! He realized that the story was getting robbed so he tackled the gun man to the ground! And continued to fight him while everyone in the store got out safe! The elderly cashier got to safety and called 911.He got shot twice in the hand and buttocks, he still may have to have surgery possibly! He has medical bills that we have to pay for our, rent is due the first, also power bill, and food expenses , and our son starts school in in fall! Armed robbery with a gun? A better option than tackling the wanna be thief would be to shoot him, which would have been legally justified. It would have been a lot safer and less likely the thief becomes a repeat offender.
