Haven't been to a C&E in years.

Was thinking of going with my dad and brother to this. It worth it?

I've found the Dixie Gun & Knife show to be much better. The last C & E show in Concord I went to people were coming out and telling people outside not to waste their money. I only went in because Jerek was holding a gun I had asked him to get for me. After picking up the gun I walked around and was out of there in 30 minutes.

The C&E is the smaller of the two shows that hit Raleigh (The Dixie Gun and Knife is the other). I go to both, but a lot of people prefer the Dixie show. The C&E in December is disappointing, it is in the Expo center which is about half the size of the Jim Graham building where the Dixie show is held. Some of the larger vendors don't bother coming to that one. Can't speak to the one in Concord.

I went once, against the advice of my dad, wont go again.
Though Concord isnt that far down the road from me, it took SO LONG to get to this show because of where it is in Concord.
I could get to Concord Mills in about 40 minutes, took an hour to get to this show.
Small show, long drive, not worth it for me.

Small show and can be hit or miss. With that said, I have bought some really cool stuff there, including three German Lugers. One of those was a rare 1917 Naval Luger. For a small show, some interesting stuff tends to walk in the door.

We'll be there this weekend. If you do come, drop by and say hi. At least one of us should be wearing a black CFF shirt.

Mind elaborating?

Sure, but keep in mind, I've had a few. $8.00 to see a half of a building with "stuff" in it. Half of that "stuff" was fudge, hand made jewelry, cookies, women's clothes. Women's freeking clothes!!! And several other tables of stuff that was not in any way firearm related. I only went on an off chance a couple of regular sellers were there for a few mags i'm looking for. Well, i know I've said it before, but never again. I'll just order online or wait for the Charlotte show. The only high point of the morning was the stop off at Repent Arms. Looked at something in full auto and had to leave. I have a credit card in the wallet that would cover the price. Anyway, that show seems to get smaller and smaller every time I go.

@grungewehr39 Ahem. You got to talk to me. That is worth something!

Pretty bad showing today. Very small public crowd and most were tore kickers. A number of dealers from eastern NC cancelled due to flooding so there were a number of tables taken down. Concord has been on a slide for a while but this was bad. I will try it again but if we have another show like this has been so far I won’t be coming back.
