I think it was just an AR. I’m actually surprised LE aren’t exempt from that law. They have been from many of CA’s previous bans.
 
Was it an AR or an assault rifle? The two are different. That he also had tracer rounds makes me think the latter. Even in CA an AR15 is “legal” if it has certain features like a non removable magazine.

Of course the article goes on with a line about how the AR is responsible for so much loss of life, blah blah blah. Stupid windbag. I really am at the point where I would be willing to not only deny the dimmorhoids any say in public policy but to also make the shut up.

I've been watching the news over the past several years and have really enjoyed the various venues such as massive fires, floods, winds, drought, riots, and everything between. It just puts a big smile on my face seeing those commies standing in waist deep water holding their little baby commies or running for their lives from a wildfire. Now that's entertainment! :cool:

Perhaps there is a God because they sure are getting punished by someone. ;)

I think so too. Regular AR. Just not "registered" with the state stasi.

When NY required registration, compliance was estimated at 4%. The majority were LE who had to also.
