Is anyone familiar with the Cabela's brand of the Savage 10T-5r 6 mm Creedmoor? I've been looking around for a .243 but I can't find one that has the proper twist to handle the longer and heavier bullets (100 grain plus). These are 1:8.
I have the Savage 10T in .308. It was crazy accurate with the 5r barrel. However I found a threaded McGowen barrel from a fellow forum member and replaced it with that. I only replaced it because I wanted the ability to supress it - not because the factory 5r barrel was inferior.
