I made a trip up to Garner and Fuquay Varina yesterday to the usual spots for gun nuts, and Cabelas and Tractor Supply had a few surprises.........
The first were of the French variety. Cabelas had two Berthier carbines on the used gun rack just outside the Gun Library, one still stock for the three round en-bloc clip, and the other with the extended magazine for the later five round en-bloc clip. Both had some age and very apparent wear on them. In the Gun Library, there were some more real surprises, two beautiful Springfield Armory .45-70 trapdoors, two Springfield Krags, and the icing on the cake was a Remington Rand 1911A1 complete with paperwork and the shipping box from the old DCM...........
The other surprise came from of all places, Tractor Supply, they had the full length infantry rifle variant of the Berthier complete with sling and bayonet, and not for too bad a price...............
Anyway, thought I would pass the info along, there was other stuff, to be sure, but I have never seen so many WWI French rifles in the same day......

Tractor Supply sells firearms?

It's like a gun kiosk inside the store, for real.
There's an Agri Supply over in Florence. It's been while since I've been there, though.

Not all Agri Supply locations. The one in Garner has an independent gun store inside it. And a guy who sells jewelry too.

It's to the left from the entrance and your lawnmower blades are to the right. I go there pretty regular to kill time on Saturday mornings.

You guys are correct I had "Tractor" supply on the brain, it is in fact Agri-Supply, I apologize for the mix up

Ok, I'm lost. I went in Agri today looking for guns. I went to the sporting goods section and only thing I could find was BB guns and guns cases

Walk in the front door , bang a left and walk along parallel to the front wall. A small alcove will appear that holds a small gun store with a small assortment of highly priced merchandise...
