Nothing that I’d consider a Spoiler below
We’re on the way home. Really enjoyed it. I would say it’s made more like a Guardians movie with a little of the first Iron Man mixed in...lots of witty banter.
Music and other 90’s stuff was cool.
Neat to see that much of Fury and learn some things about him.
Lots of Easter eggs throughout the movie that link to all things Marvel.
Really liked the tribute to Stan Lee in the opening credits.
I don’t think it was as “women power” focused as Black Panther was “black power” focused. Yes, there was some SJW type topics, but not near the level I expected.
There is an extra scene basically right after the movie ends. There’s another one after all the credits. The first one is absolutely worth watching. The second really isn’t. We always stay for credits anyway. My dad always said those people worked hard and most never see their names, so we’ve always stayed until they turned the lights on. I’ve continued that habit with my family. If anybody wants to get up and leave, I’ll tell you what the final scene is via PM.
Other highlights from the preshow:
1. The new Spider-Man looks like it’s gonna be good
2. Hobbs and Shaw is going to be pure fun
3. The Latina chick in the Progressive commercial is smokin’ hot
I’d bought tickets 2+ months ago for today and again on Tuesday. That was in case we saw it once and felt like we needed to see it again to catch some stuff we missed, or if plans came up today and we wouldn’t make it so I already had the other tickets. That being said, I’m going to request a refund on them and use that money to buy the digital code instead. It was good, but it wasn’t like A:IW where there was so much going on I need to see it again to catch the stuff I missed.
