Captured spring for rear takedown pin

Mailed off some screws today. We’ll see if the “tape them to a folded piece of paper and use a regular stamp” method works. :D

And <24 hours after I submitted my order, these showed up:

So if you need a tap, let me know. You’re welcome to swing by if you’re local and it’s a quick process.

If you do it on your own, and haven’t thought completely through the process, you need a couple things:
1. Tap
2. Set screw
3. A way to hold the tap...a proper tap wrench (or whatever the term is) is best, but you could get by with an adjustable wrench, or vise grips
4. A very small allen wrench...I’ve found a 1.3mm or a .05” will work.
5. A castle nut wrench if the upper is already assembled
6. A pair of snips, or whatever your cutter of choice is to cut some coils off the spring
7. A drop of oil, type probably makes no difference

For anyone wanting to do this, I don't have a tap set to give, but I do have two set screws that Aero puts in their LPKs.

If you need/want them, I'm sure I can mail them in a regular envelope inside a folded sheet of paper.

Holla.

Those must be tiny!! Looks like only about 1/3 the number of threads mine have.

Lightweight set screws. Aero don't play. Lol
Nevermind.

I was going by the pic I posted of the item on Grainger. I went and checked one of mine and they only have ~5 threads.

Not the most useful thing to stock up on...but I’m now prepared for a build-fest.

Just a bump in case anybody wants a couple of these screws.
