Any recommendations for painting of cars in the Triad?
Not looking for Maaco cheap (300$), but also dont want $3k either

Sorry, the guy I know up in Walnut Cove does Shelby's, so $$$$.

Macao will do as nice as job as you want. They have different quality paint jobs ranging from 500-1500. Their top paint job blows everyone else’s warranty swap. I personally have had 6 cars painted by them. All but one had the cheap paint job. I don’t think twice about them if I need something painted. They are GTG IMHO and I HAVE used them, not my wife’s brothers cousin 2 wife’s nephew once removed:)

Ive heard some locations are better than others
I appreciate your PERSONAL opinion/experience with them

Ian's in Winston - Salem does great work.

Thanks, I'll look them up too!

Not sure if your being sarcastic or not but who cares. Plus if your not happy with it, they will paint it again:)

Oh, no sarcasm at all
I dont know what would make you think that, but I apologize.
As you said it's YOUR experiences, not what you heard from others etc

What Ive heard from others in the past, that they've not like, is overspray.
When I get this thing repainted I want to make sure there isnt overspray everywhere etc
Plus, I might go with a color change on the car too, so jambs etc will need to be done

Might not do EVERYTHING (ie, inside the front trunk), but I dont want to be able to see the original color behind if I mix up the color at all

Wellllll not yet.
Ive agreed to purchase, but it'll be a few more days/week before Im driving it home.

Drove down and had a test drive today and it's what I want. Reasonable price, little things will need to be done, but nothing pressing. One, of course, will be paint.

Here's one he sent me initially.
When I get it I'll do a full 'build' thread documenting everything I do. Where it started, what Im changing/fixing
There will be many small projects with it

93 got 15" wheels (which I'll, likely, be switching to - found a set in Raleigh)
94 got a different rear spoiler...I might get one from the guy selling the car
