Excellent match! I just shot my first one - first 2 gun and first one at CCGCI - and I give this match two thumbs up. The facility is very nice - they have bays with enough size to allow for some really nice stages. A good mix of distance and close, with movement thrown in as well. Nice stage design - enough options to make it interesting but not confusing for the newer shooters. I shot a 9mm AR w/ a Vortex red dot for the rifle stages, which was all you need - longest shot was 75 yards. Lots of folks running .22 rimfire and lots running .223 ARs - you choose.

Nice folks on my squad - we talked guns, gear and shooting and parked the other stuff at the door o_O.

A well run match - they provided cold water, but you need to bring sunscreen and bug juice. The Red Baroness herself was my squad RO and is very cool.

I'm going back.

We had great weather, nearly 50 shooters and a fantastic time!

Thank you Stillwater! We appreciate the nice compliments! We try to make the match accessible to as many as possible and keep requirements low so that more people will be attracted into the sport.

We have some terrific regulars who are always willing to give hints and advice as well to our newer shooters.

There was some Gatorade...but wow that stuff disappeared fast! LOL Nothing left today in the cooler at all! Hope somebody got a good wet splash with that melted ice!

Thanks for that...and we hope to see you again soon!
