Stepsides , a '96 & a '78.

In a jillion years they will dig up the '96 & find my bones in it. 5 speed manual w/the little 305.

The '78 is just a part-time play toyView attachment 89019

Sold these about 5 years ago when we moved. My 67 Chevelle 396 4spd and my wife's 67 Camaro 350 4spd. Miss them but enjoy our new place better. Still have an 03 Cobra(Terminator)
that I never drive.

Wife will fist fight over those things. She wants them left on. Her car, her call. They made the new ones pink so people would be more apt to remove them.

Hahah I figured. People absolutely love them.

Dude, if I had one with pink I'd be more LIKELY to keep them!
I love it, think it looks cool. But that's just me

If this was taken at night it would be the perfect craigslist picture.

"I know what I got." Sure, but I don't, because I can't see in your picture from across the street.

Don't mean to jump on your post. Just makes me laugh. Even though I'm not much of an import fan that's a nice looking ride. It's great you didn't put a plywood-sheet-sized spoiler on it and you haven't dropped it until the tires toe-out halfway into oncoming traffic. That's very well done.

Dodge/SRT design boss Mark Trostle said:
"...I wish they would take them off. To me, as a designer, it ruins the lines of the car."

You can wish in one hand and poop in the other one. He's probably salty that some production guy added a plastic bumper guard that improves his original design.

As long as I'm making the payments I'll do what I want with my car.

You caught me it was to hide the paint and thanks. With the way the prices are going up on these I didn’t want to do anything I couldn’t easily put back to stock.

I caved. After 7 years without a payment and 15 without a V8 or 4wd.

Brought this '16 Dodge (I don't care it's a dodge😂) home.

I'm honestly a ford guy. But this couldn't be beat for the features and mileage.

Now if only I could keep the wife out of it so I can drive it from time to time😂😂

I know how you feel. I have always owned GMC. When I went looking for a new truck a few months ago I said I was going to look at Ford GMC and Ram (Dodge). I then started looking at options I wanted. I marked Ford off the list due to how it fit me. I felt like the seat didn’t fit me. Once I compared the final two the GMC was about 8k more. Don’t get me wrong I love my Ram. The electronics are at the top I think.

I've heard that Dodge has the lowest prices and the worst dealer service of the big three. There is also an impression that their fancy interior won't age very well.

At my house we're in the middle of intense negotiations over the purchase of a new vehicle.
We shall see. I plan on keeping this one about 4-5 years. Will sell before 100k. I get a pretty generous vehicle allowance from work so my plan is to have a fairly new truck paid for when I retire. That’s probably another 12 years or so.

I HATE dealerships. They all suck. I worked at a Ford one for several years as a tech with no degree...

I honestly didn't care for the dealer I bought from...

But they had the right truck, at the right price.

All this "tech" stuff in any new vehicle makes me wary as hell. But for me. I wouldn't go to ANY stealership for diag for anything right off.

But I also presume no matter which brand I went with. The software will screw me well before the hardware will..

Before it had as many door dings by idiots at grocery stores...

That's why I park my vehicles as far away as possible from everyone else in the parking lot. People don't care if they ding your car and most of those folks try to park as close as they can to the front because they are also too lazy to walk.

Not super familiar with that trim, mind telling me more about it and your car in particular?

It’s the second lowest trim model. Lowest being a GXi which came with a 1.8 N/A 4cyl. Mine is N/A with a SOHC RB20e in it. Manual, RWD and slow. Was 100% stock except for an exhaust when I got it and I’ve put some period correct parts on it over time along with maintenance items.

Some of you have already seen my twin turbo diesel..

Wife loved her 2011 335d! We put 120K on it before the SCR system failed and I deleted and tuned it. The performance boost was unreal, but she couldn't handle the diesel fumes it created after that.
So down the road it went. She's always been a Corvette girl at heart, so she replaced it with a C7 Grand Sport._DSC1268A.jpgIMG_8101.JPG

My 12mpg beach cruiser, family hauler pig. Her electric rocket. I’m still skeptical but gawd it’s melt your face quick.

You should get all that silver blacked out around the windows and door handles. IT makes a heck of a difference.
