Chili cookoff

I'll come, I'm not much of a chili cook but if you have any suggestions for beverages I'll bring those.

I thought you knew his address?? sorry thats why he called you that insensitive name implying your a dumbass opps
So I take it this will be the same place where we had the June meet-up. I would like to attend but will not enter the competition--my chili is edible but not that great. I did make some last week and was happy with the texture of it, but not so much the seasoning. I used venison cube steak diced up about 1/2" as the main protein source and thought that worked great. I would be willing to provide some of the cube steak to a local entrant and/or bring something else to the event such as beverages or those little cracker things (oysterettes?)

Yes Sir Eddie,
I felt that he was outta line with the name calling and that I surely didn’t do anything to deserve it. He’s a bit rough sometimes but I try to overlook it. A ruffian he is!

Bring whatever you want, or don’t bring anything. I plan on having waters and cokes for anyone that wants them. Anything is appreciated, and always nice to meet new people.

Yes sir. Anything is appreciated, and that chili sounds like it would have been delicious. My wife likes entertaining so she will probably make a few dishes or sides as well.

You always talk about how good your momma’s cornbread is and I have still yet to have any. Just saying.

A PM has been sent with my address to those who said they were, may, or are going to try to make it. If I missed you let me know and I will get you added. Should also mention the time is officially 1200 unless that just doesn’t work for anyone.

I hope the weather holds out for you guys and you have a great turnout. Be sure to take a bunch of pictures so the ones of us that couldn't make it can see what we missed. And, I'll just be hoping that there's not a south westerly wind this weekend.

Any pickers coming? If so, I’ll bring toys too! (If that’s ok, of course!)

My wife gave away my chili pot. It didn’t turn out as well as usual, but it’s not bad, just different.

I also have two Tupperware containers full from where I transferred it from pot to crockpot.

How can one man be so right about nanner pudding but do wrong in his estimation of cornbread? It boggles the mind I say!
