My buddy has a super clean Chinese Paratrooper SKS that I want to take off his hands. Niether of us have any idea what it is worth. Does anyone know what a fair price would be?

    Thank you in advance.

It's been a while since I checked, but I think $450 was an average price

Are there real paratrooper SKS or they are like the "Tanker" Garands?

The paratrooper SKS was a commercial offering only.

Been a while since I checked. In 2014, I bought one in VG condition for $375 off of the forum whose name shall not be spoken.

I had a Norinco para back a while ago and I really enjoyed it. I used it to compete in military steel competitions using open sights at 200 and 300 yards and did quite well against Ars and Fn- Fals but it took some modifications to do so. I used the Tapco stock and the detachable magazines, but the greatest improvement I made accuracy wise was the addition of the sights. I used the Tech Sight adjustable rear with the much thinner front sight post and while it made a really big difference in accuracy, its still just a 4 MOA gun at 100. But, I stupidly sold it years ago and would love another one.
