Christensen Arms Mesa 6.5PRC Long or Short Action?

This may be a dumb question, but I’ve read two different answers. Anyone that can confirm whether the CA Mesa 6.5 PRC is a long or short action? Yes it is a short action round in theory and the rifle uses a Remington 700 style action.

I ask all this because I’m looking at optic mounting options and my gun hasn’t arrived yet. Any input is appreciated.
