Civil War artillery v. M114

I may of posted this previously but it is so cool I thought I'd show it again!

M114 where not a bad ride, except for overheating and lack of power.

I have a video (somewhere) of the artillery demonstration at bentonville. IIRC the artillery pieces were rifled, and the rounds themselves were not the canon balls we think of. Looked more like mortar rounds in shape.

In the hands of a well trained crew, they were very accurate.

When they decide to lift the plague restrictions, yall need to come to the North South Skirmish Association Nationals. We compete with Civil War artillery (and small arms) with LIVE ammunition.
