VG is very good to go. They get paid 1/2 of your increase for 10 months- you get a $1000/mo increase, they get $500/mo for 10 months & offer a very decent cash discount if you pay up front, vs. making payments.@vaskeet

IRC Does the difference between you have to what you get x’s 4 or 5… which is fine with me since they did all the work
@Stogies the best part is that they do all the work, they have a MD on staff (separate fee, but worth it) and it talk to you the day before any meetings to walk you thru the CMO Exam and physical..Tagged for interest, my wife is in the process.
I will let her know, presently Morgan&Morgan is handling the case and they already managed to get her from 10to30to50% with something pretty substantial pending that could very well get her to 100%. But I will pass this on to her!@Stogies the best part is that they do all the work, they have a MD on staff (separate fee, but worth it) and it talk to you the day before any meetings to walk you thru the CMO Exam and physical..
All of the staff are Mil affiliated/broken vets/ or former VA employees
And if you get denied like I did o. The 1st go around, they file the appeal and the back payment fee continues (when the va pays) my back payments -after va denied me-resulted in my getting about 8k
She has nothing to loose
Never heard of a reduction unless outright fraud was involved.
Might be all you can get; might be getting to the " too much work for the possible return" point for them.
Hard to say without all the details; I will say it took me many years to get fully through the VA system. They are quick to say NO and hope you go away.
When I started they didn't even have a TBI evaluation protocol. When I finished getting all the subordinate conditions rated, they told me they had to start over and run me through their new TBI protocol. 18 months later, they decided they agreed with themselves.
I wrote it off to helping validate the protocol for those who follow...
I did this all with my wife's help and the occasional congressional kick in the pants when things stalled.
If you aren't happy with where you wound up so far, cut them loose and keep grinding with DAV help.
